Holiday Service of Remembrance

The Wenig Funeral Homes of Oostburg and Sheboygan Falls will host their annual community Holiday Service of Remembrance on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Sheboygan Falls for the families of Sheboygan County, and you're invited.

This event will shed light on the difficulties of dealing with grief approaching the holiday season. Discover practical tips on how to include the memory of your loved one in your holiday traditions, a time of reflection and candlelight ceremony, special music, and a holiday blessing.

During this season, often observed with joy and festivity, those who are processing grief are often experiencing something very different. Whether it has been one year, ten years, or longer, the holiday season is a time that devotes special attention to family and those we love most. By preparing with purpose and reflection, the holidays can still provide a sense of beauty and meaning. Rather than focusing on the absence of your loved one, consider ways to include them into your holiday traditions this year.

This event is opened to the public and specifically geared toward to those who have experienced loss in the past year, but open to all people. There is no fee for the event. No RSVP is necessary. Light refreshments to follow.
